What is Salsa?
Salsa is a dance that originated from Cuba as a mix of various dances (hence the name salsa). Here at the salsa society we do not just dance Salsa but also Bachata, Merengue and Rueda de Casino. All of the dances are lead based. That is, men leads and the women follow. This enables social dancing as you let your partner know what you are doing as you are dancing.

An other dance that originates from Cuba. This dance is very much like Salsa. It is danced in a group which is
set out in a circle. One person calls the moves and the group executes them. The moves are very often Cuban Salsa moves.
